Biking on the Sidewalk?

According to Alberta legislation, biking on a sidewalk is only permitted if there is signage stating the sidewalk is shared-use.

Road and Highway Biking

Be sure to drive where other cars and other vehicles can see you, be aware of where cars are parked to avoid being hit when the car door opens. Always ride on the left side of the lane when biking on the road to avoid this scenario and to avoid other vehicles.

Be sure to familiarize yourself with bike safety to avoid any accidents and keep up with current legislation to avoid any fines.
